With the nice weather comes more time outside. And who can resist taking their pets outside with them? Taking your pet outdoors does come with a certain amount of risk. Remember to always keep your dog on a leash and close to you so he can’t run away or get stolen. We usually remember that piece of common sense. But what about the safety hazards that don’t always come to mind?

Just because we live in apartments doesn’t mean that we can’t garden. There are many option for growing plants indoors but for now I would like to concentrate on herb gardens. Fresh herbs will not only add a whole new level of deliciousness to you cooking but they also smell fantastic. Growing indoors allows you
to really micro-manage your plants and keep a close eye on them.
There are many kits available for purchase that will include everything you need to start your own herb garden. You can also purchase the pieces separately to customize your garden to your needs. Here are a few tips to keep in mind.

My favorite thing about living in an apartment? Never having to mow a lawn! My least favorite thing? Occasionally having to deal with very loud noises from my upstairs neighbor. But the good far outweighs the bad in my opinion.
When I moved in here I realized that I would have to change my exercise habits. I used to jump rope all the time, which can be a really excellent workout. But with someone living below me I had to stop out of consideration for them.
