With the nice weather comes more time outside. And who can resist taking their pets outside with them? Taking your pet outdoors does come with a certain amount of risk. Remember to always keep your dog on a leash and close to you so he can’t run away or get stolen. We usually remember that piece of common sense. But what about the safety hazards that don’t always come to mind?

Just because we live in apartments doesn’t mean that we can’t garden. There are many option for growing plants indoors but for now I would like to concentrate on herb gardens. Fresh herbs will not only add a whole new level of deliciousness to you cooking but they also smell fantastic. Growing indoors allows you
to really micro-manage your plants and keep a close eye on them.
There are many kits available for purchase that will include everything you need to start your own herb garden. You can also purchase the pieces separately to customize your garden to your needs. Here are a few tips to keep in mind.
And remember to have fun!

My favorite thing about living in an apartment? Never having to mow a lawn! My least favorite thing? Occasionally having to deal with very loud noises from my upstairs neighbor. But the good far outweighs the bad in my opinion.
When I moved in here I realized that I would have to change my exercise habits. I used to jump rope all the time, which can be a really excellent workout. But with someone living below me I had to stop out of consideration for them.
So what are people like me who don’t enjoy the gym supposed to do for exercise? Here are a few good exercises that won’t bother your neighbors:
What are some other exercises that are inconsiderate to do on an upper level apartment?

Some of us (meaning me!) are too self-conscious to go to the gym and workout in front of people. I’m
insanely uncoordinated and I’m afraid of falling on my booty and making a fool of myself. The gym does have advantages to working out at home though, one of which being instructed classes.
You can still exercise with a teacher without being in a class with a bunch of other people. Plus, at home you have the added benefit of the classes being totally free! Exercise TV is a great website I just discovered that offers oodles of different videos of different workouts. They offer beginner, intermediate and advanced videos featuring yoga, cardio, dance, kickboxing, and many more. They even have a YouTube channel.
