Where do you plan to watch the Horns hook Wyoming?

After a convincing win over Rice, our Longhorns will host Wyoming Saturday night at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium and you can try to get tickets here, but we know how quickly that places sells out! So if you’re not going to the game, you’ve got plenty of options.
There’s little doubt the Entertainment Lounge here at Gables Pressler apartment homes will feature the Longhorns on the Big Screen TV, but if you’re looking for a larger and louder crowd to watch with, Third Base is right up the block and there are numerous spots off 5th Street near San Jacinto like Champions, B.D. Riley’s or Buffalo Billards.
Then again, you may just want to gather with friends and stay home. If so, it’s always a good idea to figure out who’s paying for the pizza, who’s helping to clean up and who’s bringing what beforehand. It’s a lot easier to celebrate another UT victory with all that handled in advance. Have a good time and let’s Hook Em’ Horns!!!

Looking for a complete change of pace, an event to impress that special someone or just looking for an intimate and enchanting night out? Find all three wrapping into one bowtie with black suit to match when Andre’ Watts plays with the Austin Symphony tonight and tomorrow at The Long Center for the Performing Arts.
A short trip from Gables Pressler apartments just over the Lamar Boulevard Bridge and down Riverside Drive, the performance will be held in Dell Hall and you can buy tickets here, but anyone enrolled in a college degree program may purchase a $5 cash ticket starting at 7:40 p.m. for an 8 o’clock show while available. Anderson’s Coffee Company is Austin’s Coffee Shop Secret
Coffee in the morning, coffee in the afternoon, coffee in place of a snack - I can’t get enough of the brewed concoction. The only downside to my coffee obsession is that I have become somewhat of an elitist when it comes to the varieties I will try, and this can pose a problem.

Seeing as I am a coffee enthusiast, and I can’t seem to make a decent cup in my own kitchen. I have to rely on coffee providers outside of my apartment to provide me with my morning latte. If you are facing the same problems that I do with getting a decent cup of joe, then count yourselves lucky to be an Austin resident. Anderson’s Coffee Company is still somewhat of a local secret, but it won’t be for long. The roasts have influences from various regions in the world, and all are sure to hit the spot for your coffee needs. Take your pick of coffee, tea, or specialty drinks, take a seat, and enjoy your beverage in a relaxing, inviting atmosphere.
What may be the best part of Anderson’s Coffee Company is that you can get a great cup of coffee for an insanely good price. Skip Starbuck’s and head over to this shop on 38th street for a $1 cup. Yes, only $1! Doing their part for the economy and the loyal coffee drinker - now that’s customer service.
Anderson’s Coffee Company is less than 10 minutes from Gables Pressler. Stop by this weekend and enjoy some of the best coffee you’ll find in Austin. -
